Inspiration: Jackie O

Hey everyone,

So I decided to try something a little different today. I love the chic, glamorous style from the 40s, 50s, and 60s and thought that it would be fun to do a post on Jackie Kennedy or Jackie O. She is undoubtably a style icon and always looked sophisticated whether she was in an oversize sweater and pants or an evening dress. She looked simple and stylish in casual ensembles and glam in her dressier pieces. No matter what, Jackie O was always put together. While some of the items that she wore may be a bit dated now (like evening gloves), you can definitely add a bit of polish to your everyday outfits like Jackie did.

Key Pieces:

-Sweaters (both slouchy and slim fit), worn for layering

-Big, Glamourous Sunglasses

-Pearls, pearls, pearls! (I’ll show you how to wear them in a more modern way)

-Tailored Jackets

-Simple Shift Dresses
